Investiture ceremony
is the backbone of the school in which selected students who form a council,
mediate between the school authorities and student community. The investiture
ceremony of Sr. Sec. Segment was organized in Mahatma Hans Raj Auditorium
Of D.A.V. Public School on 18th November, 2010. The function
began with the ceremonious lightening of the lamp amidst chanting of hymns
by the chief guest Mr. Anil Rao, Joint Commissioner Of Police, Faridabad
and the Principal of the school, Shri S.S. Chaudhary.
The Head Girl and the Head Boy of the previous session handed over the
charge to the Head Boy & Head Girl elected for the next session viz.
Luv Karakoti and Tamanna respectively. To abide by certain codes of conduct,
the new members of the council were administered the oath by Mrs. Reena
Rao, wife of the chief guest. Ties and badges were also given to the new
office bearers. The chief guest in his address congratulated all the new
office bearers and emphasized the importance of discipline and hard work
in one’s life. He also urged the students to be good citizen. The
function ended with a vote of thanks presented by the newly elected Head
Girl and finally with the recital of Shanti Path.
