Inter-House English/Hindi Declamation Contest Class XII

English Topic- “Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of promises for overcoming it.”

Hindi Topic - “Dohre Manak: Ek oar Vishwa Shanti ka Aawahan, Doosri oar Parmanoo Parikshan”

The students presented their views effectively and competently. They argued that the world is really based on hope and the possibilities for success are limitless. They quoted the words of Helen Keller & Stephen Hawkins, and considered them an inspiration and a role model for all. On the other hand they felt that in order to safeguard our interests India needed to strengthen its defence base, of which nuclear tests are integral whereas the message of world peace is the very basis of India’s philosophy since time immemorial.
