Computer Lab

We have switched over from Disk Operating System to Windows. At D.A.V we have one of the best facilities for imparting computer education to students from class I to XII. It has at present 8 computer laboratories having more than 250 computers, the majority being P IV   to impart computer education to student of classes I to V, a new multimedia centrehas been developed to keep the children abreast of the latest happenings in the computer world. We have the latest PIV dual core computers with   80Gb hard disk and  3GHz speed . All these computers are networked  for resource sharing. Major emphasis is on beautiful graphics and sound effects  blending education and fun.

The computer center has a video projection system. This VPS is a great boon for computer aided learning. We also have the internet facility and students successfully browse on Internet Explorer  and Netscape Navigator .The students can surf through the latest websites and hence make use of the vast resource of knowledge being provided on the internet. To top it all , a software for  TIMETABLE management has also been introduced. This facilitates the formation of the time table for the various classes of  the schools.

Extraneous allocation shortfalls, double allocation status and weekly work load can be easily checked with this software, Moreover, the school has an automatic fees computing system which helps in  students fee details retrieval, computing transport fees, late fees, practical fees, concessions among other information.
