Nutritious
Snack Making Competition
On 20th Nov
2010, Nutritious Snack Making Competition was held on Home Science Lab
for the students of Class XI & XII. It was an individual cooking competition.
Various nutritious and low fat snacks were made by the participants. Honorable
judges were Mrs. Veena Singh and Mrs. Tanuja for Class XII Group and Mrs.
Hemlata Chaudhary and Mrs. Anju Gupta for class XI Group. Our esteemed
principal Shri S.S. Chaudhary graced the occasion and appreciated the
efforts of the students. Healthy snacks like Vegetable Idli, Nutri Nuts,
Vegetable Upma, Handwa, Golgappa Shots etc. were made by the participants.
There were 30 participants. Results were as follows:

The Arya Vidya Sabha DAVCMC New
Delhi holds the All India Mahatma Aryan Youth
Festival for the students of D.A.V. Schools all over India. This
festival is first held at Zonal and then National Level. This year the
Zonal Youth Festival was organised by D.A.V. Ballabgarh. The students
won many prizes in various activites like Music, Dance, Debates, Quiz
& Fine Arts. The school lifted the OVERALL
TROPHY in the Zonal Youth Festival.
